WHY DOING AIR-RAID SHELTERS BEFORE THE 2WW?!
THEY KNEW IT! THAT’S WHY!
In 1935, in Campo Tizzoro air-raid shelters were built: a set of tunnels dug into the rock beneath the perimeter of the area of establishments for the production of weapons. The galleries are located at a depth between 15 and 30 meters below the ground and was reached by strange ew of cement. Within the protection system was equipped with approximately 6000 seats, a department of emergency, a chapel with oratory and toilet. The wells were also equipped with a system of closures watertight parts and remediation of air in case of gas attacks; throughout the gallery system was equipped with an autonomous system of illumination to be used in case of Emergency and a poor bird in case of chemical attack.
